In late July, the Friends said an enormous 'thank you' and 'goodbye' to longtime Okemos Head Librarian Betsy Hull. We enjoyed sharing memories and ice cream with library patrons and visitors, Friends members, Okemos Library staff, and CADL executives.  In a note shared on the CADL website,  Betsy said, "I am grateful for my career and all those people who would make their way to the library just so I could experience the world from 4321 Okemos Road."  We send all good wishes to Betsy as she starts her next chapter, and also welcome the new Head Librarian, Thomas Moore.
