The December Book Sale will be Saturday and Sunday, December 2nd and 3rd, at the Okemos Masonic Center, 2175 Hamilton Road.  Friends of the Okemos Library members may buy early from 8:30 to 9 am. on Saturday, the 2nd.  Buying for the general public starts at 9 am each day and runs to 5 pm.  Books are $.50 paperback/$1.00 hardback.  Special editions are individually priced. Children's books are $.25 for paperbacks and $.50 hardback.  On Sunday we hold our "bag sale," with a full bag of books costing only $5. Click here to see the dates for all of the 2023 Book Sales.

Those who wish to donate books can do so by bringing them to the Okemos Library at 4321 Okemos Road. We accept gently used fiction, nonfiction, and books-on-tape, along with CDs and DVDs. Donations should be left in the Friends Room, located immediately to the left of the "Hold" shelves. Most Thursday afternoons around 3pm you will find Friends working in the Friends room if you have questions or need assistance with a donation.
